Welcome to the SMEWeb demo Content Management System
This Content Management System (CMS) uses the 'phpWebSite' web site content management system (CMS). The software itself is free and SMEWeb are able to configure and adapt the system to your needs.
phpWebSite is a very powerful open-source Content Management System with many contributors. SMEWeb can fully customise the system to reflect your needs or can supply it as part of a package for you to customise. Content Management Systems are ideal where there are many different contributors to a site, each contributor having their own login and area which they can maintain.
Alternatively, you can purchase a hosting package from us which includes the easy to install Fantastico where you can play with a large number of open-source software.
Web-based administration allows for easy maintenance of interactive, community-driven web sites. phpWebsite is licensed to the Appalachian State University and so has a reliable academic background.
